Torn

Losing grip on my sanity
having to choose between
heart-filled emotionless affection,
or a life of contempt agony from
mutilation deep inside my fragile existence.
My aching soul heeds my progress
through this labyrinth of despair,
blinded by a lustful thirst to decode
the intricate fabric of time
wickedly infatuated by the lost spirits
betrayed and restlessly fettered to tainted soil.

Wow, very deep just like I like it. So sad and yet so full of truth for those who can relate. I like this alot!

This is twisted! As I read this I feel myself slipping into a dark place in myself. Your words "blinded by a lustful thirst to decode" is a powerful statement. Good stuff.

thank you. feedback is always welcome.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
