    For Logan

I wanted you from the start
    when you were born you
    stole my heart.
    I wanted to raise you
    with your dad by your
    side that didn't happen
    and yes son I cried.
    I didn;t want to raise
    you alone so, I moved
    us back to my hometown.
    To give you grandparents,
    uncles, and aunts, to spoil
you rotten, and love you to
    death.
As a single mom I tried
to do the best I truely
    could for you.
    Now your 20,my how
    the years have flown by
    and though we don't see
    eye to eye.
I hope one day son you
    will see how much you
    truely mean to me.
    I love you Logan.
    Mom

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
