Fortune Cookie

Fortune Cookie

The fortune cookie with it's lovely shape
the fortune cookie I think smells great!
I don't like to eat them though it's the fortune
inside I like the most.
The last one I got said it best,
"I show you doubt to prove that faith exist"
not quite a fortune but, a message from
that man that God of ours isn't he grand?
That was his answer to the questions I
had been asking his sense of humor
keeps me laughing.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
