Forbidden Love of the Ocean

Forbidden Love of the Ocean

The seas roll through your palace
The wind through mine

 You dance through the reefs
With elegance and grace

I roam on the beaches
searching for you

It seems we could never be
What we used to be

Our dear love will never change
Our separate worlds

 Divided by those we love
And by our hearts path

So now over the ocean
I’ll sing to you

 And beneath the rolling waves
You heart will listen

To all the sad songs of us
Never being

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
