Poem Commentary

I have to dedicate this poem to Cody. The little boy in Spain whose where abouts I don't know. If you are out there, I hope to see you again.

Soaring to Destiny

I've been waiting forever
to test my fuzzy little feathers

To soar and fly
among the gorgeous sky

To live like a bird
perched on the bloomed branch

waiting for destiny
to grasp my patient hands

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
