Forever is Today

Forever Is Today

You try so hard to understand my mind

Walk the endless miles of barren shoreline

Just to glance at what hides inside forever

Two silhouettes inside are all you see

An entrancing image of you and me

Two are one with a kiss that lasts forever

Forever I will hold you; our two hearts will beat as one

Forever to defend you; a love second to none

Forever I will show you; take my hand we’ll fly away

Forever to revere you; Forever – is today

What is a man without a soul to share?

An empty void when no one else is there

Desolate existence lasts forever

I need the love that only you provide

Don’t wanna live this emptiness inside

I truly love you and it lasts forever

Infinite love, forever is today

Infinite love, forever is today

What beautiful imagery you use to make your plea...I am sure that some fortunate Lady felt very special! Nicely done!

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.

Plato (BC 427-BC 347) Greek philosopher.
