Hypervision

Hypervision

I see in infrared, ultraviolet blue

Lemon yellow twist and incandescent too

I see through walls of steel; things you can’t see through

I can see a star on as sunny afternoon

Hypervision starry eyes, can you see through our disguise?

Hypervision super eyes, seeing things we cannot hide

I can see in front of me and in back of you

I can see the past and tomorrow too

I can stare up a storm, leave it raining gloom

See a soul in flight and guide it to the moon

Hypervision starry eyes, can you see through our disguise?

Hypervision super eyes, seeing things we cannot hide

I look into a pond to see a fish or two

Like looking in a hole, Earth that I see through

My eye can spot a fly, squatting on a shroom

I can see your fate and save you from its doom

Hypervision starry eyes, can you see through our disguise?

Hypervision super eyes, seeing things we cannot hide

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
