Forgive and Forget...
It seems so easy to do.
But what happens when it's done to you?
If I feel I have nothing else to lose,
Then why am I still so hurt and confused?
He hurt me more than he knows...
This gap in my heart feels as if it will never close.
I believed in him and took a chance,
I fell in love once again with romance.
But now the man I see before me
Is not the man he used to be.
He took my heart in front of my eyes
Then tore it apart with his cheating lies.
Will I ever let my heart free again to dance?
Or will I feel the need to take that second glance?
I wished this hurt and distrust would leave my head,
Then I wouldn't cry each night I lay to bed.
Even in my dreams i can't get over it...
Isn't there any way to just Forgive and Forget?
