Grace Unlimited

As the memo of the next morn is given by the sun,
there is hope for the hopeless.
Unjustifiably we arrogantly look toward the creation of a new day.
The tough-love of others is not always the best approach.
As I try to catch the sun in my hand, I dare to expose my arrogance that I am far better than this solstice creation,
from the reflection in a nearby creek,
I noticed the beauty of what is to become.
The beginning of life for most, but the ending of hopes and dreams for others.
My life sheds tears, for my soul.
Prayer fosters the development of my dreams, only leaving soft refreshments of hope that make me hold on once again.
Forgetting is often harder than remembering,
with the grace of a ostrich and the aggressiveness of a lion,
I will fall and get back up, brush the dust off of my knees, and grit my teeth to my alter ego and present relentless fear and pray for grace unlimited.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
