    Grammy's House

Out the window we gazed, as in the car we sat

For soon you'd hear our little feet
run through the hall with a pitter pat

For Grammys House was soon to come and boy we couldn't wait

Hugs and kisses waited there so let us not be late

I remember how we'd run and play up and down the halls

Back and forth between Grammy as laughter filled the walls

Grammy in the kitchen and Grampy in the office

Sissy and I making mischief running and laughing in bliss

On the sunnier days at Grammys we'd
run outside and climb the trees

There was a perfect tree in front right where Grammy could see

Or to the tracks we would run so pennies there we would lie

Later on we would get those and there and back we would fly

Grammys house was filled with love, love and laughter and joy

And she'd settle us from our fights over all our little toys

There we'd run across the lawn and roll on down the hill

And pitter patter our feet would go till all the world was still

Out the window we gazed, as in the car we sat...
