    Guardian Angel

     If the impossible could be done,
    If it could be done just once,
    My only wish would be for you,
    To bring you back to me forever,
    To mend the hole in my heart,
    And be there through everything.
    But since that is impossible,
    It makes me happy just to know,
    That you are there watching over me,
    Guiding me through many issues,
    Forever being my guardian angel.

    This sounds like a permanent loss, such as in death. Hope all is well...and that this is just a poets muse.
