Time of My Life
Looking at the last five years,Too many fights and too many tears.
Broken promises and hurtful names,
And nowhere to turn with all of your games.
You tore me away from everything I had,
And forced me to think that I had gone mad.
If I had only seen these signs from the start,
I could've blocked those aches and pains from my heart.
But as they say, everything happens for a reason,
Now I found a man to be with me every season.
He is the reason I look forward to each new day,
And everybody knows that he is here to stay.
I can't find the words to describe how I feel,
But at times it all feels completely surreal.
I can easily picture the day I become his wife,
That will quickly become the time of my life.
Until that day comes, I will patiently wait,
And know every minute that I have found my soul mate.
