    Haven Whore

And here once again I am found lost in thought
Lost in regret and shame, so fearful of being caught.
    Really I hate this...feelings I endure
I want to drown them out...so I use more and more.
Drugs are a haven, a gateway to feeling numb
Only when I am sad do the cravings start to come.
I hate the way I cope, the way that I give in
For once I want to hurt without the follow of sin.
Why am I so weak when all I've known is pain?
You would think that over the years discipline would be gained.
But no here I sit...high once again
And nothing has been solved, and I hate the state I'm in.
