    Poem Commentary

this poem is to my wonderful children for which as a single day have the pleasure to have raised and bring up in this life

    hearts and smiles

I remember the day so many days ago
your wonderful hearts and smiles took its toll
giving to my soul peace from that day
the day your smiles took my breath away

oh your smiles take my breath away
I enjoy them each and every day
to be giving such wonderful smiles
makes this mans life so worthwhile

I will go in life to my dying day
asking only God ,oh lord i pray
just to be held in your loving arm,s
And one last smile to take my last breath away.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
