    Him

    My pain originates with him

The hole from where he stole my heart

aches when I think back to him

    What I would give up

just to see him once more

To hear his voice would rip me apart

If I saw him just once more

my emotions for him would rescind

    my burning would sese

and my heard will belong to me once again

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
