    Save Me

    Standing here alone

Screaming for you to come save me

    you will never come

    As the ground climbs closer

    Your name penetrates my body

The aggravation caused by the irritation

reminds me of why I followed through with my plan

    As I hit the pavement

the pain reminds me of all the permanent memories

    My heart beat slowly fades

Images of our past barrage into my mind

Your image reminds me of my past ecstasy

The depression I possess returns me to the present

it reminds me why I am here in this place

The soul I thought I lost begins to divide from me

The quiet black abyss seems appealing

    My consciousness wavers

My vision becomes clear yet again

    Tears begin to augment

    All thoughts lost but one;

    Why am I alive?

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
