    Home Again

    HOME AGAIN

Pictures of the past wander through my mind
Bringing back thoughts to me of another time
    Memories of my childhood
    And my Mom and Dad
Take me back to those good times
    And the fun we had

I wish I could go home again

Playing game together on a summer’s day
‘Hide and Seek’ and ‘Kick the Can’
Were some things that we did
Dreaming of the winter, playing in the snow
Makes me think of Christmas and days of long ago

Good times last forever and days turn into years
Even though we’re older, we still can think of them
Time will still remind us things are not the same
One last look at where we’ve been
    Those memories remain

We know we can’t go home again

I wish I could go home again.
