I want to go home but I don't know where home is.
Fear of change has kept me in place for too long,
Now I'm scared I won't feel again.

My identity swirls around me,
I reach for it, but it keeps slipping away,
The memories taunt me,
They know I want them back,
And they know they are unattainable.

All I want is stability instead of wobbly futures and lofty promises.

The road signs were switched by a devious enemy who won't show his face.
