Hope in Him

The people in the village have their heads bowed, and are down on their knees.

You've come through for us over, and over so "Lord please."

The people's hearts are heavy, but their heads are bowed, and they are down on their knees.

I know you're able, because you came through for Daniel when he disobeyed the king's decree.

A lady's husband became ill, and Father she bowed her head with all hope in you.

No one could feel her pain, but she's depending on you to bring her through.

Sickness took Grandpa away, but Father I heard you could mend a sad heart.

Arthritis has on a hold on auntie, but Father she believes in You to fix it before it puts itself in park.

Sickness has a tight hold on a deacon; my faith isn't that strong but Father I believe you know what to do.

The people's hearts are heavy, their heads are bowed and they are down on their knees.

You saw us through slavery, and Civil Rights, there's no one like you so we cry out, "Lord please."

When sickness claimed Gramma V, it took apart of me, but it was only later that I learned to believe.

I saw your goodness, but then all I needed was your truth and mercy.

That soldier in Afghanistan, who got that sad call about his father, Father please give him hope.

A brother holds in head in sorrow, because his brother is hanging on for his life, Father please bless him with a calm antidote.

Daddy went to the soon, and every time the thunders roll, they remember him.

Mama was sad for her loss, she became ill, her kids were her strength and she thanked God for them.

They talked about me, and I couldn't see a way up.

They ridicule you, and everyday seemed be getting extra rough.

Father, it's raining here, but I believe and know you are in control.

They can hug me, but only you know how to heal that hurt deep in my soul.

Father that child is worrying his mother, and she's losing her faith.

Father please watch over her child; let her know there is a brighter day.

Father there's a girl whose self esteem is low, and she building her path wrong.

Please Father help her turn around, before her journey wrong goes too long.

Hearts are heavy Father, but we are down on our knees where we learned to stand.

I got my eyes to the hills, because if there's a way to fix it, I know you can.

The church is feeling a tug at their hearts because a great person is on their sick bed.

Father we’ve prayed to you before, and with your help through the valleys of temptations we were led.

I don’t see a way out, but Father I know you will make a clear way.

My heart is heavy but Father I know you will bring the sunshine for a bright day.

We are weak alone, but Father with you we know we can we can gain strength.

Father the race looks too long, but with you we can go to any length.

The days seem longer, and the trials seem tougher so Father that drives us to bow our heads more, and drop to our knees.

You brought us out before; all our hope is in You Father, so here we are humbling ourselves saying “Lord please.”
