HOPE

HOPE

We live in a world filled with hope and pain
We work and struggle to make it our own domain
Yet to many people seek and believe in fame
I just try to survive and not complaine
So many just make life a game
They act and play insane
Today and everyday I kneel and pray
That before they lay me to rest
That I do my best to make this world have one more good day

Beautiful! Almost like a prayer. Thank You.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
