In your quiet place...

In your quiet place...

In your quiet place I wish to rest.

In your loneliness I would roam.

In your emptiness I wish to please.

In your happiness I would dwell.

In my helplessness you strengthen me.

In my peacefullness you embrace me.

In my gratefullness you expect me.

In my silence you speak to me.

In your quiet place I wish to rest.

you have feelings and that's what I like. Everybody rhymes at times but not too rhymie. To me poetry is about expressing your true feelings instead of being too rhymie

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
