    It's Alright, You're His Wife

    He could beat me,
    in view...
    or alone,
    at home...

    you all bow your head,
    you all walk away...
    I'm his wife,
    I sleep in his bed...

    so it's none
    of your business,
    until I'm dead....

Obviously this piece speaks volumes and though we have put in to place social programs that do away with such violence; we still have a great way to go. I list this kind of violence under the name of 'rape'. And, I compare it in the realm of what the misuse of power is all about.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
