I've lost the love

I've lost the love

The roses and the candies,
the long late nights on the phone,
the I can't stop thinking of you,
all the sweat I love you's,
 the kisses that meant something,
The hugs and warm embrace,

I loved you so much
I thought you were the one
I wanted to send my life with,
I wanted to get old and gray and
Look back at the old times

But what happen?

It all faded away,
Its not a new love,
Its not your kisses or warm embrace,
The love is just gone,

All the times I tried so hard to make
You happen and got nothing in return
After all the years of no support and
All the promises you never kept

You still tell me you love me and you
Still make all the promises but
I’ve lost the love

Its just not the same any more,
I want to say goodbye but afraid
To hurt your feelings,
But what about my feelings all
Those years the heart breaks and
The broken promises

I’m sorry I’ve lost the love

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
