    Little feet little hands

    Little feet little hands

    red, yellow, black or white

we are all a like in some kind of way

I have pain, I have tears,

I even bleed the same as you

    you call me names

    you say ugly things

    as if it doesn't hurt

    I'm a person too

I'm may not look as good

    as you are even walk

    and talk like you

just because I'm a little different

then you I have feelings too

I may cut my little feet or little hands

    just to stop the pain

you might even see me on the

    evening news

    so keep your names and

    ugly thoughts to yourself

    try to say hi sometime

I might turn out to be a

    friend you never had

    little feet little hands

    red, yellow, black or white

we are all a like in some kind of way

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
