    Knight in Shining Armor

When I think of the one I love
    My heart begins to melt
I cherish his every word and his every being
He is the star that lights my darkend days
    My knight in shining armor
The one who holds the key,
The only man on this Earth who was made just for me.
I love this man with all my heart
And that love grows with every word
I will hold this man close to me
    And never let him go.
As a young girl I asked the Gods
    To create someone for me
A man that would love me until the end of time.
    Then one lonesome day
As I sat and prayed for him
    I finally found the man
    Who holds my special key
The key to all my dreams,
    My fantasies and future
This man will be the one I love
And will keep me in his arms.
I have found my true love.
It is you my darling, my prince
One day I will soon be yours
    And give myself to you.
So until that day my dear,
    I will dream of you.
You're the man who was made for me
You're my every dream come true.

Ahhh...this was very sweet. Dreams come true if you dream them hard enough I belive. So keep dreaming and dream hard.

I really liked this one N, it was beautifully written, I can remember wishing and dreaming the same thing when I was a young girl.

Hey, it's happy, though short of metaphor and a couple of word usage gaffs. I liked it.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
