    Later That Day…

    Later That Day…

There I was on the slab, lying cold in this space.

Tears falling down eyes, her black dress made of lace.

they asked” Why would you do it?”

She replied “I just couldn't do it”,

His heart was too big, and a knife went right through it.

Amazed at the story, and the tell of the tale.

All doctors amazed at the life that I held.

He loved so often time, and again.

He loved you enough to stay a good friend.

He just wanted to have you, just wanted to hold you,

Tell you he loves you and sit and grow old with you.

He showed that he loved me and my kids like she should,

He did way more than I thought that he could.

He held on to love as best that he could.

I broke his heart and it ended no good.

I went back to my exe husband one more time to see

If it different this time, and, he never judged me

Or cursed me, he just loved me and touched me

And said follow your heart that is so lovely.

I told him over time and time again

     I love him to death,

So I guess there's the end....
