Life

Like a blind man I struggle too see whats always been right in front of me
Waisted what could have been
I buried it all deep within
Alone I stand, just a man, brought here by my own hand
I'll let this be, live this lie, and laugh at it all until I die.

Hm, this is very wry and sage. I liked this a lot, a sardonic take on spending a life. Short, but by no means wanting. Great poem.

thanks alot for the comment

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
