Little lights scatter the darkness

    Little lights scatter the darkness

    Untamed the starry night spins
Glazing the earth with decorative appeal
    Dancing about the darkness
Lighting a way not to be understood
by the restlessness of the weary
    Unmistakably the glimmer
    catching the eyes embrace
In which case instinctively we gaze
    as time states it's place
    Fondly receiving it's assurance
as it stirs curiosity beyond the norm
    To insist there is more
    Mercy pouring like honey
    into the shadows forgotten
    Redeemed moments whispering laughter's
    Hidden Graces
to replace the tattered portrait we keep
To deep to comprehend it's Effect
We gather it to be a mystery

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
