Live Life
To leave and live, life’s not to grieve.
But to believe, sometimes in dreams.
Not fairytales or make believe,
but things you know you can achieve.
Might things go bad, do not be sad,
nor be so glad, for that matter mad.
Best to be calm, and think things through.
While sipping tea, a cup or two.
When you are done, you’ll find this true.
In times you think, when you are blue.
And after all, then you will see.
The things in life you’ll happ’ly see.
Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
