So long…
It’s been so long since I last saw your face,
my! can time fly past, so quickly.
I cannot stop this throbbing pain,
of wanting to touch you again, but being unable to.
Try as I may, I wait and wait, and yet to my disdain,
I still end up not being with you, at the end of the day.
When will it come, the time again,
A day I’ll spend with you?
When will you turn, and smile again,
give me joy, so I can hum a happy tune.
