‘Cause love’s like this
The wound from the love that once was. . .
The pain of the love which is now. . .
what remains of the heart is but physical. . .
inside long gone. . .
a darkness that keeps on growing. . .
of heartaches I keep befalling. . .
painful yet I must endure it. . .
this wretched heart, by love has fallen. . .
In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
