My dance

My dance

Dancing uderneath the moon
Out in the summer air
I thought I saw your face
In the window of the living room
So clear was the image
I stopped and stared

It must have been a shadow
For I no longer saw the image
Of your face there

The Music streamed through the night
It wasn't from a speaker
Or a neighbor down the way
It played in my head
Remembering from just a short time ago
Though it has been years from this day

Moving effortlessly to the melody in my head
My limbs circled around the ground
My arms swayed above and below
Feeling free not a thing to dread

Peaceful and free
Dancing to my souls rhythm
Alone - the world at my feet
Is this not what you wished for me
Ascending to my god given path
with sweet tranquility

Loved it, you needed no company, for with the tranquility came the peace of a squadron of angels. Nice write
