because a mother loves no matter what

MY DEAR BRIAN, MY SON, MY LOVE

I love you so much you don’t even know,

I try to do the things so my love can show.

We really only have each, each day;

Oh God, help my Brian each day I pray.

I do all I can, but it’s never enough,

You keep on demanding and it’s getting real tough.

Try as I may you always want more,

To get your way you put holes in the door.

I wish you could see your mean hateful ways,

You can only hurt your mother for so many days.

You never believe what you do is so wrong,

But all your meanness has gone on for too long.

You’re treated like gold, but treat your mom like trash,

Remember- ‘don’t bite the hand with the cash’.

Too bad, Brian, you just can’t see,

Your bad actions are slowly killing me.

Brian, please stop all these bad actions, I beg of you,

I can’t take much more; this much I know is true.

I’m at my breaking point and you’re only getting worse,

You will be quite shocked when I place my own life first.

Now my hope is that you can make a change for you and not just me,

You have no idea the great person you could grow to be.

This is a very good poem Hanna, I wish things were better for you. I lost my Bruce last august and my heart is still in torment I hope that God does make your brian think before its too late. God bless you for all you do for him! I have another poem here titled son of mine, I think you will like it too. Love Mary

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
