THE ILLUSION OF TIME

Poem Commentary

don't waste our abritrary illusion- live each moment well. Be happy for wahtever time has to offer. It really is just an illusion afterall- so what of LIFE then?

THE ILLUSION OF TIME

The illusion of time

As the time in the morning always comes too early,

The time at night slips slilently away,

The illusion of time may cause me to say,

The mornings come during the right time of day,

And the nights I do not really stay awake to see,

The illusion of time depends on the perspective of you or me.

Time is measured by man each nano-second,

The measurement is odd and hard to imagine,

As I have moments that feels like it lasts forever

As the other moments seem to whiz by in a second.

Days turn into nights or do nights turn into days?

Weeks melt into months that suddenly become years.

This is what is time is (at least from my perspective)-

The illusion of time

An exceptionally written work pertaining to the illusion/reality of time. "The measurement is odd and hard to imagine" Great lines, great write.

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
