My Lovely Daughter
O, pretty precious daughter
You are the spring of my joy
And the generosity of life
You are the promise of the Father
And the flower of my hope
You are the wonder of creation
And the strength of my youth
You are praise to the Almighty God
I see in you an angel of God
And a bright and shining star
I see in you the riches of God’s grace
And the fullness of His Spirit-power
I see in you the universality of the Sun
And the mark of divine favour
Your equals shall bow before you
Live to glorify God and benefit mankind
