    THE MOON

    Think of the moon,
    It's like a black pot
With no light of its own
    Waiting ever for the sun
    The reflection of the sun
    That it may also shine
    By wisdom and meekness
We can shine like the sun
If we learn from those that shine

It is the secret of the moon
To search for the shining sun
    And wait for its reflection,
So it can shine like the sun.
    To shine in your tomorrow
    Humble yourself today
    Be humble like the moon
To learn from those that shine.
    Our attitude determines our altitude.

"Our attitude determines our altitude" is a masterful line! I couldn't agree more! I really enjoyed this a lot, thank you :)

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
