Poem Commentary

Naomi has touched so many lives and made them better and likewise she touched my heart and I am blessed for knowing her. She will live forever in the hearts of the people she selflessly helped along the path of life and spiritual journey.

Naomi Farrel

A lifetime of service, dedication and love,

Naomi has been a loving gift from the above.

She dedicated her life to teaching.

Her work has been so far-reaching.

She gave of herself and of little money she had,

So others would be helped and not have it so bad.

She opened her heart and home to so many in need,

She quietly showed the world how to love and lead.

She sang, played piano, spread the gospel and she taught,

She defended little people everywhere, and for them she fought

She enlightened people, with wisdom that cannot be bought,

Much happiness and joy to their hearts and souls she brought.

With her joy of life, she surely delighted family and friends,

Naomi, enlightened us all her own way, not following trends.

Because of her, the world is a nicer place,

She has been a credit to the human race.

She will be with angels when she will ascend,

To that well deserved and lofty place at the end.

With wings of love, of all those she touched, and blessed.

She will have a joyous journey and will be lovingly caressed.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
