Poem Commentary

I know many of us plan and plan and do all we can for that wonderful tomorrow to come and we may postpone living life till then. I got news for you your tomorrow has arrived and is today and start living it to the fullest and enjoy all tomorrows.I wrote another similar theme called Today is Tomorrow, saying the same thing in a different way. I love playing with word and their juxtapositions.

Tomorrow Is Today

Tomorrow Is Today

Why wait and wait for that special tomorrow?

Do it today and start to live, forget the sorrow.

Think, ponder but be done with the debate.

Life can pass you by, if you wait and wait.

One day you are young, filled with dreams,

If you are not careful, you’ll run out of steam.

Follow those dreams and make them come true,

Don’t wait, too long. Do it before you are through.

Remember the love you desired?

Remember how you were inspired?

Remember places you dreamed to see?

Remember the person you wanted to be?

Sitting home and thinking about it,

Does not get it done.

Start doing and living it now,

It can be fun.

Action is needed now, not just day dream,

Tomorrow is here today, live your dream.

Recall those nights you were full of hope,

No obstacle too impossible for you to cope?

Remember you were fearless and could dare?

You thought that tomorrow you would be there.

Enjoy your life that you worked for.

Tomorrow, you will have even more.

Why just wait at heaven’s door?

Open the door and see what is in store.

The life you will have is the life you make,

Your dream will come true, it is no mistake.

Today is that tomorrow,  live it, don’t be scared.

There is not another moment more to be spared.

Tomorrow is today,

Live, enjoy and play.
