    Poem Commentary

Watching snow flakes felntly falling down and reflecting about Christmas.

    Snow Flakes and Christmas

                     Snow Flakes and Christmas

Snow flakes, from heaven, dancing around,

Each, unique, as they gently kiss the ground.

    Some cling to tree tops,

Some stay on the roof tops.

Like an artist with a brush in hand,

Snow flakes, slowly paint the land.

Watching them warms my little heart,

How everything plays an important part.

The sun makes the snow crystal glitter and shine,

Like a million diamond so beautiful, so refined.

Just open your eyes and take it all in,

You will feel peace and much joy within.

I think that may be just here and now,

People will make it through somehow.

Forgetting about all the material things for a spell,

Enjoy friends, life, nature, music and yes “Jingle Bell”

Mel Torme’s “Chestnut Roasting on Open fire”

Is the kind of music that will never die or retire.

Bing, crooning being home is so inspiring, full of hope,

That all will be alright soon, and together we will cope.

“White Christmas”, “Silent Night” and “Drummer Boy”,

“Jingle Bell”, “Sleigh Ride” so happy and so full of Joy.

“Twelve Days Of Christmas” is happy and so clever,

This song, with Turtle Dove and more, will live forever.

Christmas trees, welcome wreath, colorful and blinking lights,

Mistletoe, wrapped gifts, apple cider and children’s delight,

Rockwell’s paintings tell the story so well.

As only he can capture, describe and tell.

Don’t let the hustle-bustle of shopping get you down,

Enjoy life all around, smile and leave behind the frown.

    Take a long, leisurely walk,

Find a dear friend to talk.

Enjoy the snow, the music and the season,

You are alive and here, it is the best reason.
