    Please Stay

    You haunt my thoughts
Randomly you pop up in my mind
That is where you reside now
You were not asked or invited in
Out of no where you built a home and stayed
    At first I hated you
But the mystery of your face and voice trapped me
I can not see or hear either
I am not blind or deaf
It is just the simple fact that you have not both
    No name either
I wish you would tell me with your voiceless words
And look at me with your so blank face
Stay as long as you like
Cuz if you left, I would go crazy with wonder

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
