Inviting temperature smolders in minds rhythm of thought,

creative warmth understood to own her for a price, as if bought.

“Don’t fight, just breathe, let the feeling meander through your veins,

take you over, seduce you, bind you in unquenchable chains.”

Possession so easily attained with such a willing, yielding host,

pen spilling thoughts, darkly inked & deeply engrossed.

“Feel the slow burn creep through the thin veil of your mind,

quickly searing your conscience, demanding your time”

Nonsensical thoughts take possessed meaning of their own,

flooding the page with deeply impassioned, raw poetic flow.

“Let my flames lick the ache in the tender depths of your heart,

set it afire, send it through your fingertips, in to your art”

 Baptized by fire , soul naked, vulnerable and exposed,

open mind, open heart, intense emotion untold.

"Now let ink run hot as lava bound to overflow,

touching everything in its path with flames, no mercy shown”

Mind set ablaze, reason, reality out of reach, far away,

desperate need to make the torturous licks of heat go away.

“The burn will only cease when your creation is laid at my feet,

your mind blood sacrifice, heart & soul bled so sweetly in ink.”
