The Dark Angels Dance (Part 2)

A fallen angel in the arms of midnight’s dark trance…

marionette of tightly wound strings spun for a dance.

Confused, torn and bleeding, hands lifted…holding loosely…

shame and guilt for the desire to acknowledge his beauty.

Holding ever so tightly…his wings hover…shelter from harm…

security planting its seeds in her soul to calmly cease all alarm.

Gentle touch to her cheek, to chin bruised from her fall…

unquenchable flames are his eyes, pleading “Hear my hearts call.”

Chilling warmth of his breath on sweet ear, in whisper he lays…

“These strings shall only be cut… when thy heart freely obeys.”

Tresses falling in caress around his forlorn angel’s tender face…

his eternity’s first and only…bewitched heart left begging for grace…

Angst from quelled feelings, she attempts to force back the tears…

a single escapes to sting her cheek for thought of satisfied leer.

Gentle kiss to falling tear, speaks loving defeat to her resolve...

weak and weary from her struggle, unable to curb their spited fall.

Small fingers grip harder at shivers assault in the base of her spine…

gentle dig of her nails, nearly forcing his desire over drawn lines.

Hand...fingertips at her hip grip tighter due to threatened composure…

Deeper breaths… speeding heart… bit lip...he’s closer.

Eyes, teeth, and jaw clenched with pain of shaken fortitude…

restrained desperation for affection gifted only from gratitude.

Fingers tangle in her tresses with deep need to transform her fears…

magical kisses claim liquid anguish and black diamonds appear.

Soft pings of dark melody fall from bloodshot blue eyes to the floor…

beauty and riches… eternity itself...could not have prepared her heart for.

Destiny’s grip near winning his battle…her eyes close to fight yielding…

Taking flight with her in his arms, eyes gesture toward proof of his feelings.

Seas of black diamonds glittered with brilliance far brighter than gold…

bittersweet song breaks from a fallen angels lips…devastating beauty below.

Poisoned by resound of her velvet voice …laced its own way with fire and ice…

succumbing to the doom before his eyes…he chains his will to his beautiful vice.

A dark angel stunned closes fierce wings around a sweet, forlorn, fallen angel…

lips laced with desire...deep heartache…and exquisite black diamond spangles.

Desire glazed eyes…a low growl claims his voice…deep, warm, thick and coaxing…

feather light kisses…heavy lid protest…tip of tongue teasing…wickedly provoking.

“Hush my Sweet Angel…thou hast no need of reason nor rhyme aside from this love…

…now… let thy tongue taste the sweet and pure pleasures of coming undone.”

Drugged by his kiss…rapture swallowing her soul…relief… as she gives in to his call…

music…tormented embrace fit for the gods…hearts mercy bleeds…puppet strings fall.

Bloodshot blue eyes meet with midnight’s eternal dark trance…

and so this concludes…The Dark Angels Dance

I wouldn’t call it love at first sight—more like love at seraphim’s first sultry stare. You went all out on this, wamomo, to eloquent effect.

The dark Angel, he is master of deception...and it is a trick? He speaks through your head to take away your heart. But it is not black diamonds or fire an ice, but rather brimstone and sulfur, painful hot and cold at the same time. Everything so true as a mind can see? But only fallen angels who do not obtain a lick of truth but only lies, torment their deceiving songs end. The path to hell is their only bent? So come away my fair one. Song of Solomon. 10 for talent and insight :)

Thank you so much, Mark...and agreed...but never forget that his greatest weaknesses are his own strengths...and there are many in high places who will forever be ten steps ahead of him :)

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
