Poetry is for reading

I'm just a little poem, inscribed on a little plaque.  My message is simply this: Don't just take from the world, but also give back! Not often do people read me, but every once in a while they do, and by the expressions on their faces, I can see that they find my words to be true. Often time someone will begin to read me, but not make it to the end, missing out on the main point to the message that I want to send. So do yourself a favor, next time that you read a poem, read it all the way through, and you'll find great delight in my words that are meant to inspire you. Soon I will be replaced for a new plaque, and my work here will be through, so please don't hessitate to enjoy the message that I want to relay to you.
