    "Father"

    Although we are not together;
    My love for you will be forever.

    You are my strength in life;
    The happiness I feel is so right.

    Years may pass us by;
    But together we always survive.

    Through good times and bad;
    You are always there when I am sad.

    Father you are my hope and my friend;
    So all my love I do send.

    A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
