Remember Me

Poem Commentary

Within this piece I had finally mentioned something I had never mentioned before in my writing. I had mentioned my self harm. The main point in this though is that when I die, I want to live on through my poetry.

Remember Me

A writer a loss for words,
Much like an artist with no canvise.
These blue lines I write upon are merely imaginary,
For these are my veins.
With every touch of my pen these words seem to melt; transforming into a liquid state.
Flowing, circulating.
They seem to always find a way back to my core.
No matter how drastic the measures my chest will forever rise and fall.
What you see before you will make me immortal.

Wow. I like the metaphors and Imagery. I can't see you but I can feel your voice in your words. and it seems part of your soul is held gently with in the lines. Very good.

Thank you so much

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
