Poem Commentary

please don't leave

Resolution

If I say these words I dare not speak
You'll leave and never come back
once spoken they can't be taken back
knowing isn't the same as coming forth
I am only guilty of loving someone who
can't love me

I stand at this crossroad clutching
my arm and holding my words
once they leave my lips the tears will fall
the world will spin and one road and endless possiblities
will end...

But is it worth it I mean one last embrace
if I'm lucky then you'll be free
It's selfish to be so close but be so far
harboring these thoughts innocent but not fair

I resolved to find love one day
but its hard with crushes and these emotions
But with you its different I fell deep
in love with someone who'd never see me
I can't say I love you

And stay the friend who's as close as a brother
I can't say those words and not cry when you leave
I can't say it and bare the hate from your fans
I can't  bare to lose you the most
But what if I already loss you? or maybe never had you
