    Revenge

To the world you are something, to me you are nothing.
You'll get a taste of your own poison,
one of these days, you'll decay.
You trounced on my heart, until the pulse faded away,
the perplexity of your memory keeps me strong.
You'll choke on your lies, the deceitfulness will drag  you down
I hope you see my face when you slip into eternity.
When  we're gathered to say goodbye, I'll be the one not to cry.
The one has come to collect your putrid soul.
As the soil tucks you in, I envision the flames wrapping around you, not only do I hear your screams....... they say I'm sorry.

Good gravy! You weren't angry or anything, were you? lol! Awesome! My favorite is the last two lines.

yes, i was very angry. this was about a guy from way back when. a bad time lead to good inspiration.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
