    Poem Commentary

The people of Iran are on my mind.  I hear their battle cry. I hope they get what they want.

    Revolution

    Broken Bottles,  broken dreams.
    Spoken hearts,   and spoken schemes.
    Token bones,  and token screams.
Faith in God,  and then marines.

    Crashing windows,  flashing pyres.
Gnashing teeth, and clashing choirs.                   Trashing streets, and smashing liars.
Hope in goodness, then cease fires.

    Raiding camps, parading looters.
    Fading troops, cascading shooters.
    Aiding victims of polluters.
Love of life, here comes recruiters.

Then peace comes upon the land.
All deceased lay in the sand.
    New police are in command.
Press release, at last not banned.

          Revolution Understand?
                     And...
    Faith, Hope, Love, begin again.

Great poem. Well thought out. Reads nicely and great content. I like the last three lines. Good job!

Filled with much emotion and thought. Carries the reader through good vision

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
