    Spring

    The first flower, of the year
    Blooming so sweetly;
    Look and see-
    The first leaf popping out, dressed in green;
    The first bird-
    A robin-Hopping about slick and lean,
    Looking for a fat, juicy worm.
    Look and see-
    Looking so inocently;
    Hark and Hear-
    The first meadowlark's song,
    Look and see-
    Where can it be?

    I enjoy the poem yet the words form is hard to read great versus on nature. The first flower of the year blooming so sweetly, is a great jump in line to make you keep reading on.

    Thank you for commenting on this poem. It was meant to be short and I was experimenting with a new way to write.

    Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
