    Stargazer

One day I noticed you smiling,
it was hypnotic to say the least.
In your smile I saw the sun shining,
throughout my body I felt it's heat.

Entranced by the majesty of your smile,
I noticed your eyes had soft toned hues.
They were like stars with radiant energy,
perfectly placed for me to view.

Such a visage of galactic beauty,
I was compelled to reach for the skies.
To capture a hint of the loveliness
I beheld in your stellar eyes.

    You're a vision I'll hold forever,
like a comet that shot across my path.
I'll look for you when gazing toward the heavens,
hopefully again I'll see you pass.
